Brief Synopsis on the Committee and Sen. Inhofe’s Legislative Priorities
The Washington Coal Club is pleased to announce its January 8, 2003 meeting will feature Aloysius Hogan, Majority Chief Counsel for the U.S. Senate, Committee of Environment and Public Works, for the 108th Congress.
Prior to his newly appointed position, Mr. Hogan was the General Counsel for Senator James Inhofe (R-OK), as well as for Senator Chuck Hagel (R-NE). He has also served as the Legislative Director for Congressman Joe Knollenberg (R-MI), and Senator Majority Staff Counsel to the House Resource Committee. Mr. Hogan has also served as Associate Counsel on the Senate Rules Committee and Deputy Counsel for the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
Mr. Hogan graduated from the Notre Dame Law School in 1991, and received a B.S. degree from Notre Dame in Biology in 1987.
He will be briefing us on the Committee’s schedule for the upcoming year, as well as discussing Senator Inhofe’s legislative priorities.
For leisure activities, Mr. Hogan enjoys running marathons, as well as playing hockey.
